Parking Policy
Policies were developed to protect residents. First responders and residents must be able to easily reach all homes at all times. Residents’ vehicles AND guest vehicles can be booted or towed when you violate any of these rules. PLEASE, read and heed: |
- DO NOT PARK in a fire lane. They are marked with a white curb. Getting a fire engine around Rivers Edge is hard even with NO improperly parked cars.
- DO NOT CURB PARK ANY of your vehicles and/or your visitors’ vehicles more than FOUR (4) hours in any TWENTY-FOUR (24) hour period.
- DO NOT CURB PARK ANY vehicle between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m.
- DO NOT PARK YOUR RESIDENT’s vehicle in a VISITOR parking space AT ANY TIME. Visitor spaces are ONLY FOR VISITORS.
- DO NOT PARK any vehicles on which current registration plates are not displayed.
- DO NOT PARK any trailer, commercial truck with signage, camper, house trailer, or boat.
- DO NOT PARK your vehicle in any OTHER driveway than your own, without permission.
- Do work with your neighbors, to USE their driveway spaces, when you are having guests. Here at Rivers Edge, residents cooperate and work with each other. If you are going to have a gathering at your home, please contact your neighbors and ask permission to park in their driveway and/or curb park at the foot of their driveway. They will usually help you.
- TELL YOUR TENANTS they must lease parking OUTSIDE RIVERS EDGE for any vehicles that do not fit in your driveway or garage, because their extra vehicles WILL BE BOOTED/TOWED. Do NOT rent your home to tenants with three vehicles and expect the their vehicle to be parked inside the subdivision. The 3rd vehicle must be parked OUTSIDE the subdivision unless you have a large enough driveway.
- If you have any questions regarding this document, please contact our Property Manager.
- Our booting company currently is Advanced Booting Services, 770-650-0659.
- Our towing company currently is A TOW, INC., 404-577-6566. Any resident may call to have an improperly parked vehicle towed IF that vehicle is blocking access to/from your driveway and/or garage. However, you must meet the tow truck operator and sign the towing form.
- Also, you may phone Mr. Joe Ayers at the Knights of Columbus, 404-636-9237, and ASK PERMISSION to park there for a few hours. Visitors may then enter the subdivision through our new pedestrian gate.
- You may also contract with Knights of Columbus for monthly parking at their current rate. If you park there without permission, you will be towed.
